What a Trip!!! After months of planning, Daniel, Allan, Freddie, Lianne, Lydia, Wilson, Wesley, Tony, and I decide to make the trip back to Lake X for some Fishing/Camping/Canoeing. - Pouring Rain - and then Swimming in the rain
- Wilson shoots me in the back with a BB gun + target practice

18th Trip - Sunset Trip and Welcome Steph Kwok and Jess Lau!
I remember as a kid how Dad and Mom use to take Derek and I fishing after a long day at work. I always anticipated 5:30pm when Dad would come home from work. We then quickly packed up and made the trip to the lake to relax and do some fishing. It's been along time since I had that same feeling and today was another great outing. We waited for Steph and Andrew to get off work and then quickly headed to the lake for a sunset boat (yacht) ride and some fishing. As always, we got lots of fish and everybody had a great time. We welcome Jess Lau and Steph Kwok to the ACF club! Can you also believe this was Steph's very FIRST fish ever caught??!!

17th Trip - Welcome Des and Stevens!
Friday, July 17.09 - It's been a few weeks since the last fishing trip and it was just nice to get out again. A big warm welcome goes to the 2 newest members of the ACF club - Desmond and Stevens! We were again blessed with great weather and another GREAT trip on Lake Simcoe. The morning started slowly as the fish could not be found anywhere on the various underwater points, humps, shoals, and weed beds. But then again, Marine Biologists always get their fish - and so it was just a matter of time before someone hooks onto a real big fish. Alfred was that guy as he started things off by catching a Big Bass on the "YD". It was only seconds later that we hooks into an even bigger one that got away. We then land a few more big Bass and numerous panfish. We also all enjoyed a nice leisurely boat ride back to the launch. Enjoy the pics - onward to the next trip!
Stevens starts the morning by catching a crappie.

16th Trip - Another new Member!
After weeks and months of saying "next week" and "next time", Derek finally decides to take up the offer to go for a spin on the boat. The last time we went fishing together was years ago in L.A where we went deep sea fishing. The weather held up nicely and the Fishing was GREAT! We got a number of BIG Bass and tons of panfish. Not bad for a few hours of fishing eh? It was good spending time with my brother!
As I said earlier, Marine Biologists always get their Fish!!!! Enjoy!
Derek's first fish of the day - a 6" Sunfish!
Then we caught a few of these!!!
And I got some too! YEAH!!!!!
How to Fillet a Fish 101 - we kept a few for dinner, the rest were released!
